Job Description:

Performing all cuts and trims of seafood. Packing, wrapping, labelling and stocking of seafood to sell. Receiving, unloading and verifying of seafood.  Displaying and selling of seafood. Assisting customer inquiries

Requirements:

Knowledge of various cuts of seafood an asset. Mature individual who can work with little or no supervision. Friendly, customer service oriented and team player. Fast on hands and feet and be able to lift 40 pounds. Flexible working availability. Second language is an asset

Seafood Supervisor

Job Description:

Is responsible for overseeing all operations within the seafood area. Manage, supervise and train staff to maintain high-quality standards in customer service. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Strong leadership skills, as well as extensive knowledge of various types of seafood, including how to properly handle, prepare, and market them. Create eye-catching displays and promotions to attract customers. Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner

Requirements:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Knowledge of inventory management, ordering, quality control, seafood and merchandising techniques. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and monitoring inventory levels. Problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations or challenges that may arise during daily operations. Time management skills to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of tasks. Second language and prior experience in seafood supervisor is an asset
