Produce Supervisor
Job Description:
Is responsible for overseeing the packing and quality of various produce. Manage, supervise and train staff to maintain high-quality standards in customer service. Must have knowledge of different produce items, their seasonality, and quality standards. Maintain accurate inventory levels by ordering products and monitoring stock. Ensure all produce is fresh, properly displayed, and rotated according to expiration dates and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of produce department at all times. Create eye-catching displays and promotions to attract customers.
Requirements:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Knowledge of inventory management, product ordering, quality control and merchandising techniques. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and monitoring inventory levels. Knowledge of different produce items, their seasonality, and quality standards. Problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations or challenges that may arise during daily operations. Second language and prior experience in produce supervisor is an asset
