The produce clerk is responsible for stocking and maintaining fresh produce while ensuring a clean, organized, and visually appealing department. This role includes receiving shipments, rotating products, and assisting customers while working in both floor displays and cold cooler environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock, trim, and maintain fresh produce displays
  
• Receive, unload, and verify deliveries
  
• Rotate products to ensure freshness and proper stock levels
  
• Ensure product quality and visually appealing displays
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce section and coolers
  
• Assist customers with inquiries and product selection

Requirements

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
  
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 40 lbs
  
• Able to work in cold cooler environments for extended periods
  
• Efficient, reliable, and able to work at a steady pace
  
• Flexible availability, including weekends
  
• Second language is an asset

Wrapper

Description

The produce wrapper supports the produce department by preparing, wrapping, and packaging fresh items while ensuring products are clean, well-presented, and ready for sale. This role also helps maintain department standards and provides friendly customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, cut, and wrap produce items for display and sale
• Ensure products are properly labeled, dated, and packaged
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep and display areas
• Assist with stocking, rotation, and quality checks
• Support customers with basic inquiries and product location

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong work ethic
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Flexible availability, including weekendsFood safety knowledge is an asset
