Job Description:

Performing all cuts and trims of meats. Controlling inventory and quality. Receiving, unloading and verifying of incoming meats. Packing, wrapping, labelling and stocking meats to sell. Displaying and selling meats to customers.

Requirements:

At least one year of meat cutting experience is required. Mature individual who can work with little or no supervision. Friendly, customer service oriented and team player. Good leadership, organizational skills and time management is an asset. Fast on hands and feet and able to lift 60 pounds. Flexible working availability. Second language is an asset.

Meat Clerk

Meat Supervisor

Job Description:

Is responsible for overseeing the procurement, storage, and sale of meat products Ensuring that all products are well-stocked and displayed attractively. Ordering, receiving, loading, and verifying the quality of meat. Maintaining cleanliness of the department and surrounding areas. Assisting customers with product inquiries. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills and knowledge of inventory control and customer service. Delegating tasks to team members. Training, and supervising employees in the meat department. Ensure proper storage and handling of all meat products to maintain quality and safety standards. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to meat products. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Knowledge of inventory management, ordering, and merchandising techniques. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records, monitoring inventory levels and ensuring quality controlAbility to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations or challenges that may arise during daily operations. Second language and prior experience in meat supervisor is an asset.
